Use this form to apply for a table at the Papercuts Comics Festival 2023 market day.
The market day will be held at Adelaide Town Hall (128 King William St, Adelaide, South Australia) on Sunday 17 September 2023.
It is FREE to have a stall at the market day. However, successful applicants will be asked to pay a $50 deposit in order to discourage no-shows. (We will make exceptions for those in difficult financial circumstances.) This deposit will be refunded in full after the event, or forfeited in the event of non-attendance (unless caused by illness or exceptional circumstances).
Questions in this application about you are for contact and statistical purposes only. Questions about your work may be used for table placement (e.g. to seat all-ages-friendly creators together).
Applications will close at midnight on Sunday 4 June 2023. Applicants will receive an email about the outcome of their application by Sunday 18 June 2023 at the latest.
To be eligible to have a table at the market day, you must:
I agree that I will not sell or display unlicensed fan art at the market day.
I agree to abide by the Papercuts Comics Festival policy on AI-generated art and NFTs.
Adelaide Town Hall is an accessible venue. See the venue's website for more details. If you have access requirements you want us to be aware of, this is the place to tell us.
At this stage it is not possible to provide more than one table space to any applicant.
If you wish to share a table with another creator but are not a creative team (i.e. you do not collaborate), both creators must apply separately for either a small table space or a medium table space. To be paired you will each need to apply for the same size space. (Include a note about the creator you wish to share with in the Anything else you'd like to tell us? field.)
If you would like to run a one-hour workshop during the market day, you can propose a topic below. If your proposal is accepted, we will pay you $250. The workshop must be related to comics and will be free for the public to attend. You don't have to propose a workshop if you don't want to run one.
