ENTRY AND EXIT
There are two entrances to the City Library: off Francis Street, and through Rundle Place.
Entering off Francis Street, there is a small lift and a flight of stairs.
The lift is a smaller one and may not accommodate larger wheelchairs, but there are bigger lifts near the other entrance.
There are 12 flights of stairs here, and no way to access the lift once you begin climbing the stairs.
Entering through Rundle Place, there is a larger lift that goes up to Level 6 for the City Library. There is then a single door, followed by a standard ramp which leads to the wide, step-free entrance of the Library.
COMMUNAL SPACES
Studio 01
The Papercuts Creators in Conversation talks will all take place in Studio 01, an open space in the middle of the Library.
The seating is in rows and can be moved by Papercuts volunteers to accommodate any access needs.

Quiet Space
A number of smaller Library rooms are off to the side closest to the Rundle Place entrance; one of these will be reserved for a Quiet Space. You can sit here, and eat and drink if you need to, but patrons need to clean up after themselves and avoid electrical equipment.
Hearing loop and Auslan
Auslan interpretation will be provided for all sessions.

The Library has Hearing Loop equipment available. To have equipment put aside in advance, contact us know beforehand via our contact form: https://www.papercutscomicsfestival.com/contact/. Alternatively, Library staff can access the equipment on the day.
All presenters will be using microphones, and there are options for handheld or lapel mics.
Other access considerations
There is a recharge point for mobility devices, on the northern side of the Library. There is a recharge sticker next to it.
BATHROOMS
The City Library bathrooms are down the hallway opposite the Studio 01 area.
There are men’s, women’s, two accessible toilets, and a baby changing area here.
The men’s toilets have one stall, one bin, a hand dryer, two sinks with clearance underneath and a sharps bin.
The women’s toilets have 3 stalls, one bin and one sanitary bin, a hand dryer, two sinks with clearance underneath and a sharps bin.
There are two separate accessible toilets, one with a righthand handrail and one with a lefthand handrail. These rooms are both large, with hand dryers and paper towels, open-top bins, and sinks with clearance underneath. They each have a sharps bin.
There is a baby changing area at the end of the hallway, which has a baby change table, open-top bin, sanitary bin, hand dryer, paper towels, and a sink with clearance underneath. There is also a small toilet here in a stall, for smaller children.
WAYFINDING
There will be an A-frame outside the Library entrance, but not in the street. The Library will have handwritten signs inside the Library.
Studio 01 is in the centre of the Library, and there are multiple Library staff and Papercuts volunteers to direct people.
