VENUES

Papercuts Comics Festival 2025 takes place across three venues in the Adelaide CBD on 12–14 September 2025.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We encourage practicing good health and safety.

If you are feeling unwell, particularly if experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness
of breath, please consider not visiting the Papercuts venues.

While mask wearing is no longer required, some guests, Market Day stallholders and attendees may choose to do so. Face masks lower your chance of catching and spreading respiratory viruses like flu or COVID-19. Mask wearing is welcome at Papercuts.

TRANSPORT

We encourage you to use sustainable transport to attend Papercuts events if possible.

Trams, trains and buses

The free tram travel zone is between the South Terrace, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Festival Plaza and Botanic Gardens tram stops. There are tram stops near each Papercuts venue.

The free City Connector bus links you to popular city attractions, shopping, dining, education, and other services. All buses are wheelchair and pram friendly.

There are two different routes:

  • Route 99A and 99C: loop around the CBD, available Monday to Friday.
  • Route 98A and 98C: loop around the CBD and North Adelaide, available every day.

E-scooters

Riders over 16 and wearing a helmet can legally ride an e-scooter in South Australia. For more information, see https://mylicence.sa.gov.au/road-rules/personal-mobility-devices

Hire e-scooters are available within defined areas of the City and North Adelaide. For more information, see https://www.cityofadelaide.com.au/transport-parking/public-transport/e-scooters/

Note that riders are not allowed to use e-scooters in Rundle Mall at any time, or the City West Declared Public Precinct between 6:00pm and 6:00am Fridays and Saturdays.

Cycling

Adelaide is an ideal city for cycling. Our streets are wide, flat and easy to navigate, with cycle lanes and cycling infrastructure. Walking

Adelaide’s grid pattern makes it easy to navigate and its compactness makes walking a great way to get around the city. South Terrace to North Terrace is about a 20-minute stroll and East Terrace to West Terrace can be walked in less than 30 minutes.
