Use this form to apply to be a stallholder at the Papercuts Comics Festival 2025 Market Day. Please read it carefully, even if you have been a stallholder at Papercuts before, as some conditions and options have changed.
If you need to save a draft of your application and return to it later, there is a Save as Draft button at the bottom of the form. (This button is not clickable until you have responded to at least one question.)
Please contact us if you have any questions about any aspect of this form.
The Market Day will be held at Adelaide Town Hall (128 King William St, Adelaide, South Australia) on Sunday 14 September 2025, from 11am to 5pm. It will be FREE ENTRY to the public.
Are you applying on behalf of any type of business/organisation that has two or more full-time employees?
The stallholder fee for anyone representing an organisation with two or more full-time employees is $250.
If your application is accepted, you will be required to pay this fee by bank transfer in advance of the festival in order to secure your place.
There is NO FEE for anyone in your category to be a stallholder at the Papercuts Market Day.
However, if your application is accepted, you will be asked to pay a $50 deposit in order to discourage no-shows. (We will make exceptions for those in difficult financial circumstances.) This deposit will be refunded in full after the event, or forfeited in the event of non-attendance (unless caused by illness or exceptional circumstances).

Questions in this application about you are for contact and statistical purposes only.
We aggregate responses to the following question to report demographic statistics. We will never reveal demographic data about an individual without their permission.
Adelaide Town Hall is an accessible venue. See the venue’s website for more details. If you have access requirements you want us to be aware of, this is the place to tell us.
Questions about your work may be used for table placement (e.g. to seat all-ages-friendly creators together).
There is one stallholder option available:

If you wish to be placed next to another creator but are not a creative team or part of the same artist collective, you must both apply separately. Include a note about the creator you wish to be next to in the Anything else you’d like to tell us? field below, and if you are both accepted then we will do our best to place you together.
The Papercuts Market Day is located in the Adelaide Town Hall’s auditorium and foyer, which are next to each other on the 1st floor and joined by the main door to the auditorium. Approximately 80% of tables are in the auditorium and 20% in the foyer.
The auditorium is a larger room and can get quite loud during the Market Day. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend that you ask to be located in the foyer. We aim to ensure that foot traffic is directed equally through the auditorium and the foyer.
Note: A Quiet Room will be accessible throughout the Market Day, adjacent to the foyer.

The Papercuts Market Day will be open to the public from 11am to 5pm. Empty tables during the event’s opening hours can create a bad impression with punters and other stallholders, so we prefer that you are able to commit to keeping your stall set up for the entire duration of the Market Day. However, we understand that some stallholders may not be able to do so (for medical reasons etc.) Knowing who might have to pack up early will help us place stallholders appropriately.
